In the web browser, browse the Microsoft recovery page.
Enter the email address, username, Skype Id or phone number and click Next.
Then, choose a recovery option among the two options- alternate email address or phone number. After selecting the option, click Next.
To receive the security code, select the option and then click on the Send Code button.
With this, Microsoft will send the verification code on your preferred method, and you need to enter it in the given field.
The correct code will verify your identity.
After this, you need to create a new password for your Microsoft account.
You can save the changes after confirmation.
Finally, you can use this new password to sign-in to your Microsoft account.
